St. George, Utah – it’s Tuesday morning January 20, 2015 and there are 32 “Active New” St. George Utah real estate listings on today’s southern Utah MLS Hot Sheet.
After a long and busy three-day MLK (Martin Luther King) holiday weekend it would appear as though Southern Utah’s Realtors were hard at work taking listings, filling out disclosures, and getting those new properties on the MLS and their information disseminated to the masses.
Starting with the priciest new Southern Utah real estate listing and working our way down today’s active side of the MLS hot sheet, we see a 357 acre parcel located on Highway 59 in Hurricane, Utah. This parcel is zoned as a residential development and is located on the “Bench” in Hurricane. Zoned as R1 (a.k.a one residential unit per acre), this property enjoys breathtaking 360-degree views and is listed for $6 million. For only $2,475,000 (said with a wink and a nod) we see 25.42 acres now for sale in phase 3 of the Heights at Washington bench. This 54-lot subdivision has been partially improved. Now under contract – and on the wrong side of the Hot Sheet – is The Phase 3 section of “The Heights.” Bordered by established and thriving neighborhoods on 3 sides and state land on one side, the Phase 3 section of “The Heights offers view lots that range from 12,000-18,000 sq. ft., some grading and some utilities are installed. For those developers with a little less coin in their pockets, there is a 9.66-acre parcel for sale located in Washington City, Utah for $1,099,000 – located in the Washington Townsite subdivision.

Continuing to work our way down today’s MLS hot sheet for the greater St. George area, we see a handful of real estate listings – actually seven – between $399,000 and $199,900. Littered with condo/townhomes, commercial leases, and a few well-priced single-family residential units, we see 19 new real estate listings below $179,900.
*Note: The Southern Utah MLS Hot Sheet is a living document that is updated by the FlexMLS system via the Washington County Board of Realtors. As such, new data is constantly added and updated by the areas Realtors. If the total number of active, pending, or sold listings change, its merely because the MLS system has been updated.
That’s it for me today as I have to get ready to head over to the Washington County Board of Realtors for our weekly board tour of new Real Estate listings…
