The Bloomington Country Club area of St. George is appropriately situated near the Sunriver adult community, between the Virgin River and some of Dixie’s most popular mountain biking trails. Originally built in 1969 and designed by Bill Neff, the Bloomington country club golf course was originally the only private golf course in southern Utah.
The community that surrounds the Bloomington country club golf course was annexed into St. George city in the mid-1970s. The golf course is a private-member only country club and is primarily available to equity and social members, guests and the occasional tournaments hosted by the golf course. The 7,000-yard, 18-hole golf course enjoys a large putting green for practice, chipping green complete with sand traps, Riverside driving range, and year-round play.
With its mature trees lining the streets, the Bloomington Country Club (BCC) area offers it’s homeowner’s a convenient location, close to I 15, Walmart and downtown St. George. The BCC area offers its owners vistas of the surrounding Red Rock cliffs, in addition to embracing the peaceful golf course lifestyle at an affordable price.
The Bloomington country club area offers both single-family residential homes and a vast selection of reasonably priced condominium/townhomes in the lower to mid-$100k range. With no HOA fees, the Bloomington country club area offers golf course living without the intrusive nature of a planned unit developments homeowners Association, and their sometimes-overreaching rules.
