From Stone Cliff to Entrada, Realtors in southern Utah sold 32 single-family units over the past seven days. Classified as either a condominium/townhome or a single-family residential unit, these sales exclude any activity for vacant lots and land.

Packed up and done as of Sunday afternoon, the 2018 St. George Area Parade of Homes is over. An active time for local Realtors, the sales activity that occurs during parade week is generally reflected in closed escrows occurring 45 to 60 days later.

While local real estate sales are anticipated to show a significant spike during the event – between Feb. 19  through the 26, Realtors in St. George closed escrow on real estate transactions in the following subdivisions: Entrada, Stone Cliff, Riverside Cliffs, Fieldstone, Tenaya, Desert Plateau, Washington Vista, Sequoia Estates, Emerald Springs, Bloomington Country Club, Sunriver, Terraces at Seven Hills, Bloomington Ranches, Padre Lakes, Santa Clara Heights, Lexington Hills and Sports Village.

Southern Utah Real Estate Sales Statistics

According to the Washington County Border Realtors (WCBR) and our FlexMLS system, over the past  seven days, the ‘Average’ price of a home sold in southern Utah was  $305,880.  And those listings within the ‘Median’ price range sold for approximately  $237,950,  while Southern Utah’s most affordable listing sold for $137,500. Of last week’s 32 closed escrows, 19 listings spent less than 30 days on the MLS, 6 sold in less than 60 days, 3 closed escrow in less than 90 days, and another 2 took between 90 and 120 to officially close escrow. Meanwhile, two listings were on the MLS for more than 121 days before finding the right buyer.
